A fun way to remove the corn seeds from the cob riding your bike, when I was younger we used to turn this machine by hand:

More blog improvements
Yesterday I bought the nabb.info domain from hostvision and I set it up. Today it seems that I set it up correctly and now it is working even without the www. The favicon which I uploaded yesterday seems to work only in internet explorer, who would have tough that it will work only in the worst browser :))
I made one more modification to. I had a script that displayed the related posts but it had an error and it was breaking in Chrome. I replaced the script with a widget that I found a long time ago (I don't remember where) which you can find here. LinkWithin is very easy to set up, you only need to complete a small form and then you just click a few times.

New URL
I moved the blog, finally! I have been hunting for this domain since I've created the site and now I bought it from hostvision. The new URL is shorter and sexier nabb.info :D
If you came from the old URL(notanotherbikerblog.blogspot.com) you can see that you have been redirected. With this move I made some small tweaks, I added a favicon(which I hope will appear in a few hours), I removed the blogger bar from the top of the page and added a hostvision button to the bottom of the page.
Now that I have my own domain I am starting to think about a new design, maybe after the holidays are over :)

MMM 2011 - Medieval Marathon Medias 2011
I was a bit lazy so I'm writing about this race after a month :)
I have finished in 44th place overall from 170 riders and 16th in my age group. My time was 3:55:55 :)
Stats:
- time: 3:29:24 (on my cyclocomputer)
- distance: 46,06 km
- average speed: 13,1 km/h
- max speed: 45,5km/h
It was a very hard race again (like last year). There was a lot of mud so it was hard. The mud was sticking to the tires and the tires weren't spinning anymore so I lost a lot of time cleaning the bike. The mud also ruined the shifting so it was very nice when the organizers were washing the shifters, and I even used a biker trick that I read about, pissing on the shifters :D
I felt down 4 times and I had to carry the bike a lot. It was nice that the organizers changed the course a bit and the first climb from last year was replaced with an easier, drier climb. It was a very hard race but I was very happy when I crossed the line. I couldn't stand on my feet because of the cramps but I was still smiling, this smile represent the satisfaction of finishing the race, this is why I like to race:
A few pics from the race:the bikes
on the first climb
down from the hills
in to the village
getting dirty
why is the bike stopping, I'm not using the brakes :(
carrying some mud
some racing
still on the bike, but after this I lost about 10 minutes cleaning the bike
after the last feed zone
YES, I've finished the race :D

More grilling
I have been playing with my Singer grill from emag.
This time I cooked some mushrooms (very good on the grill), sausages, some pork an zucchini. The grilled food is very delicious and very healthy so keep on grilling :)

Broccoli cream soup
I've been cooking again. Lately I cook more and more. It is cheaper and better, sometimes you get bad food in the restaurants :)
This time I've made broccoli cream soup. Cream soups are very easy to make, all you need is a blender and some veggies. Fist you need to make some veggie soup, I used some powder (Fuchs Mirodenia) because it is faster. Then I added the broccoli. When everything was cooked I left it to cool a bit. I added some garlic and put it all in the blender. The soup was very delicious. You can serve it with cream and croutons.
